This was not a purchase for myself, it was for a wedding gift that Macy’s did not have in stock, so I honestly cannot rate the item, but I can say that it got to my house in the time frame stated.

The Krups coffee grinder is so easy to use and easy to clean. The cap fits on easily and the machine quickly grinds the coffee beans for that first cup of the morning. I will definitely recommend this product to everyone!

I bought the Krups based upon the reviews I read on this website. It was a disaster. First, it arrived with a chip in the plastic container. Undaunted, I decided to try it. Within 3 seconds of starting the grinder, an electrical burning smell came forth and permeated the kitchen. In addition, it does not grind coffee for 15-20 cups as advertised. If you get 8 cups, you would be very, very lucky. Moreover, the coffee it made was very, very hot and weak. I returned the grinder and will look for a higher quality product.

I would NOT recommend this product. I used mine less than 2 months, averaging about once per week, and it broke last week. I am totally dissatisfied with this product. On top of that, I found out that Amazon will NOT replace it for me since it has been over 30 days. I feel that this is unreasonable. If I had purchased it at a retail store, I would definitely be able to get an exchange, if not a refund. Do NOT buy this product if you grind coffee often or if you want something that will last more than a few times!

I have used this product about five times. Was concerned when I
opened the box and realized how light it was. In my opinion, that’s
never a good sign for this type of appliance.
I do not drink coffee so purchased it to grind nuts and seeds.
First try was Almonds. Not good. Had to run it a long time
to do the job. Frankly, won’t use it for nuts at all anymore.
I do not believe it will last with that type of use. Hence, the
title of my review. I can’t imagine that it will hold up for coffee
beans.
I have used it four more times since the initial try. Have ground
chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, and flax seeds. It worked fine for these.
I suppose one could say I have been harsh with the number of stars
but my feeling is that this machine will not hold up long term and
I could not recommend it for difficult things like nuts and coffee beans.
Many years ago, I bought a similar sized appliance that was great.
It was much heavier, the blade was much thicker, and it was a work
horse. Almonds were not even a challenge. Try as I might, I could
not find that gadget. I always find the most helpful reviews to be
those that can give another recommendation if they don’t like the
current product. Unfortunately, I can’t do that!
